Design and Consultation
Consultation Process
- Initial Consultation: We provide a free initial consultation to assess your energy needs and property suitability for solar installation.
- Custom Design: Based on the initial consultation, we will design a custom solar energy system tailored to your specific requirements.
- Proposal and Approval: A detailed proposal including system design, cost estimate, and projected energy savings will be provided for your approval.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information during the consultation process.
- Grant access to your property for site assessment and installation.
Sales and Purchase Agreement
Order Placement
- Acceptance: All orders are subject to acceptance by Roswell Solar. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.
- Pricing: All prices are subject to change without notice until a sales contract is signed.
- Payment Terms: Payment terms will be outlined in the sales contract. Payment methods include credit card, debit card, or other specified payment methods.
Cancellation and Refunds
- Orders can be canceled within 3 days of signing the sales contract for a full refund.
- After 3 days, cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee as outlined in the sales contract.
Installation
Scheduling and Access
- Installation will be scheduled at a mutually agreed-upon time.
- The customer must provide access to the property and any necessary permissions for installation.
Installation Process
- Preparation: Site preparation and any necessary preliminary work including filing of construction permits.
- Installation: Professional installation of the solar energy system by certified technicians.
- Inspection and Activation: System inspection by local jurisdiction and activation to ensure optimal performance.
Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure the installation site is free from obstructions.
- Provide necessary access to electrical systems and other relevant areas.
Limited Warranty
Below is a summary of the coverages available. For more details on specific hardware related warranties please see individual warranties included in your specific proposal documents.
Warranty Coverages
- Solar Panels: Up to 25-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
- Inverters: Up to 25-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
- Installation: 2-year limited workmanship warranty covering installation-related issues.
Warranty Exclusions
- Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
- Damage caused by external factors such as weather, pests, or vandalism.
Warranty Claims
- Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to Roswell Solar.
- We will assess the claim and, if valid, repair or replace the defective components at no cost to the customer.
Liability and Indemnification
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Roswell Solar be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of our Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the Services.
Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Roswell Solar, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in connection with the use of our Services or any violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms and the use of our Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.
